Ben Thatcher

Ben Thatcher has been the City Manager of Boerne since June 2020. Prior to joining Boerne, he worked for the Cities of Southlake and Denton in numerous city manager’s office roles. Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications from the University of Utah with an emphasis on public relations, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas. Ben comes from a municipal government-oriented family with a father serving as city manager of five different Texas cities, and three other brothers who work for cities in various roles in north Texas.
