Amy Story (pt.2)

 

In this second episode, we continue the conversation with Amy Story, President of the Boerne Kendall County Economic Development Corporation. We dive deeper into the diverse economic landscape in Central Texas, and how entrepreneurs play an important role in creating a bright future.

Amy joined the BKCEDC in September 2016.  She began at the BKCEDC focused on marketing, communication and special projects for the BKCEDC, as well as website management.  Over the past few years, Amy’s role in the organization has increased, as has her impact on project procurement, Member relations, marketing and operations.

Amy stepped into the role as President/CEO in the fall of 2019 and will lead the BKCEDC in its mission to promote business opportunities that will strengthen and grow a vibrant and diverse economic future for Kendall County. She has a background in finance, marketing & law. She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing, as well as a J.D. from The University of Texas at Austin.

Amy is active in the Kendall County community in a variety of capacities, with a particular emphasis on volunteer roles within Boerne I.S.D., the Boerne Education Foundation, as well as serving on the Board of Das GreenHaus, Kendall County’s first business incubator.
