Whitecap NPI Selects Azali Homes and Newcastle Homes for Corpus Christi's First Master-Planned Community

Whitecap NPI has announced Azali Homes and Newcastle Homes as the builders for its Showcase of Homes, a pivotal development in Corpus Christi's first master-planned community on Padre Island. Construction is set to begin in December 2024, with completion anticipated by the fourth quarter of 2025. This project aims to redefine coastal living by harmonizing with the island's natural beauty, offering custom-designed homes with luxurious amenities.

Sara Azali of Azali Homes and John Pope of Newcastle Homes have both expressed their enthusiasm for the project, highlighting their commitment to quality craftsmanship and the island lifestyle. The homes will feature designs by Place Designers and Will & Fotsch Architects, ranging from 2,358 to 3,976 square feet, and include amenities such as rooftop terraces, elevators, and boat docks.

The 240-acre development will offer over 600 residential options, including single-family homes and condos, many with canal access. A 30-acre nature preserve is a key feature, aimed at restoring the natural habitat. Terence Johnson of Ashlar Development emphasized the project's potential to transform the Texas Gulf Coast, improve local infrastructure, and generate significant revenue for Corpus Christi.

Initiated by Diamond Beach Holdings LLC and Ashlar Development LLC, the project represents a milestone in Corpus Christi's urban planning, setting a new standard for coastal living. It is expected to have a substantial economic impact, attracting new residents and boosting tourism, while also paving the way for future developments along the Texas Gulf Coast.
